Typograff is a love letter of art, design and culture. A blend of the old and new, through the perspective of hand-drawn typography and illustration by Matt Scheurich.
Born in New Zealand, Matt had constantly drawn throughout his youth. A lover of comics and graffiti, both with their expressive and emotive art forms involving letters and words influencing him, he worked prolifically throughout the first decade of the 2000s producing work for local and national bands and music events, illustrating gig posters, flyers, and music packaging.
After a (very) long hiatus concentrating on a different vocation (web design and development), Matt has rekindled his love of art, design and culture with Typograff, to incubate and showcase artistic expressions and experiments using the form of hand-drawn typography.
