Favela Painting

Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn are two Dutch artists, who began working together in 2005. In 2006, they began developing the idea of creating art interventions conducted by the community in Brazil. Their efforts yielded two murals that were painted in Vila Cruzeiro, most famous favelas of Rio de Janeiro, in collaboration with local youth.
